Aagaz of session with Sukhmani Sahib path on 18th Aug, 2023 . Also The `Teej’ festival, depicting women’ power, was celebrated with gaiety at Mata Sundri Khalsa Girls College campus on 18th Aug. It was organized by Virsa Sambhal committee, Punjabi Department and Women Cell under the guidance of Principal Dr Satwant Kaur Mann. The young students and staff members clad in colourful punjabi costumes, danced to the tunes of traditional punjabi song . ” Teej is a time for women to rejoice and celebrate. Teej is fondly known as the festival of women”, said Principal Dr Mann . Students performed giddha and bolian to celebrate the festival. Various activities like Nail Art, Mehndi, Speech, Song and dance were organized by girls . Convenor of the event were Assist Prof Meena Bangar and Assist Prof Amritpal Kaur.
