3 students of M.A. Punjabi 1st Year 1st Sem., Mata Sundri Khalsa Girls College, Nissing (Under the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Kurukshetra) brought great pride to the institution by securing top positions in Kurukshetra University Results 2026.The university declared the results recently, where our students delivered an excellent performance .1st Position in KUK – Muskan 2nd Position in KUK* – Khuhleen 4th Position in KUK* – Parmjeet Kaur.The university declared the M.A. final year results, and the students achieved a 100% result in the 3rd semester.On this occasion, Principal Dr. Satwant Kaur Maan congratulated Punjabi Department and all the students nd wished them continued success in the future. Members of the Punjabi Department, Assistant Prof. Kulvinder Kaur and Assistant Prof. Amritpal Kaur, along with other staff members, were also present to congratulate and motivate the students.

Organized a grand farewell ceremony

On 18-04-2026 Mata Sundri Khalsa Girls College Nissing organized a grand farewell ceremony in the Department of Computer Science, where BCA second-year students honored the final-year students. The event was conducted under the guidance of the Principal, Dr. Satwant Kaur Mann.The program commenced with a devotional Shabad Gayan, creating an atmosphere filled with spirituality and reverence.On this occasion, the Principal inspired the students to achieve success in life through hard work, discipline, and a positive attitude. The Head of the Computer Science Department, Ms. Manjot Kaur, appreciated the academic journey of the students and wished them a bright future.BCA second-year students presented colorful cultural performances, including songs, dances, and entertaining activities. A special highlight of the event was that each final-year student was given a unique and attractive title based on her personality, which added enthusiasm and joy to the ceremony.Faculty members Ms. Gagandeep Kaur, Ms. Mushkan Sharma, and other staff members, including Head Clerk Ms. Daljeet Kaur, Ms. Mekha, Ms. Preeti, Ms. Mamta, and Ms. Aarti were also present on the occasion.The final-year students shared their experiences and expressed gratitude towards their teachers. Many students became emotional as they recalled the memorable moments spent in the college.The program concluded with a vote of thanks, and all students were given a warm farewell along with best wishes for their bright future.

On April 24,, 2026, Hema, a student of Mata Sundri Khalsa Girls College, Nissing (under the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Kurukshetra), brought great pride to the institution by winning a Silver Medal in the All India University Games 2026.The tournament was held in Assam from April 6 to April 9, where she delivered an excellent performance and secured this remarkable achievement.She was honored in the college by Principal Dr. Satwant Kaur Mann, who encouraged all students to actively participate in sports and strive to bring glory to their college and community.Members of the Physical Education Department and staff were also present on the occasion to congratulate and motivate the student. Baisakhi & Khalsa Sajna Diwas Celebration

Today, 13 April 2026, Mata Sundri Khalsa Girls College celebrated the auspicious festival of Baisakhi along with Khalsa Sajna Diwas with great devotion and enthusiasm. The program was presided over by our respected Principal, Dr. Satwant Kaur Mann.The celebrations began on 11 April with the commencement of the Akhand Path in the college campus. After its conclusion on Monday, a collective Ardas was performed, creating a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere.On this occasion, Mr. Amitab Singh shared valuable insights about the establishment and significance of the Khalsa Panth. He highlighted that in 1699, Guru Gobind Singh Ji founded the Khalsa Panth at Anandpur Sahib on the sacred day of Baisakhi.The event was enriched with soulful Kirtan performed by Assistant Professor Dr. Komal and students. A special highlight was the distribution of Amritdhari scholarships worth ₹1,86,000 to Amritdhari students.The celebration concluded with Guru ka Langar served to all.Principal Dr. Satwant Kaur Mann, all teaching and non-teaching staff, and students were present on this occasion

World Health Day was celebrated

On April 7, 2026, World Health Day was celebrated at Mata Sundari Khalsa Girls College, Nissing, which is run under the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee. The event was organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS), Red Cross Society, and Red Ribbon Club.The Principal, Dr. Satwant Kaur Mann, presided over the function as the Chief Guest. She highlighted the theme of this year’s World Health Day and emphasized that everyone should work together to take care of each other’s health. She also encouraged the use of new and emerging technologies without hesitation for better health management. After this, the NSS Program Officer guided the students on how to improve their lifestyle in order to live a healthy life. She shared valuable insights about maintaining an active lifestyle.Later, an online lecture was conducted in which students were educated about ways to safeguard their health. Where teachers got an opportunity to learn and develop new skills. In that programme our many departments Computer Deptt, Fine Arts and Fashion Designing Deptt participated wholeheartedly and came up with interesting sessions. Our Fashion Designing Department facilty Ms Lakshika gave a nice session on tie and dye. Fine arts dept’s Faculty Ms. Osheen showed how to make a wood block and do block printing , whereas our Computer Dept’s faculty Ms. Manjot conducted sessions on creating Google Forms and designing brochures with Canva. It was a three day programme filled with creativity and important information. Our teachers really enjoyed it.
