On 18-04-2026 Mata Sundri Khalsa Girls College Nissing organized a grand farewell ceremony in the Department of Computer Science, where BCA second-year students honored the final-year students. The event was conducted under the guidance of the Principal, Dr. Satwant Kaur Mann.The program commenced with a devotional Shabad Gayan, creating an atmosphere filled with spirituality and reverence.On this occasion, the Principal inspired the students to achieve success in life through hard work, discipline, and a positive attitude. The Head of the Computer Science Department, Ms. Manjot Kaur, appreciated the academic journey of the students and wished them a bright future.BCA second-year students presented colorful cultural performances, including songs, dances, and entertaining activities. A special highlight of the event was that each final-year student was given a unique and attractive title based on her personality, which added enthusiasm and joy to the ceremony.Faculty members Ms. Gagandeep Kaur, Ms. Mushkan Sharma, and other staff members, including Head Clerk Ms. Daljeet Kaur, Ms. Mekha, Ms. Preeti, Ms. Mamta, and Ms. Aarti were also present on the occasion.The final-year students shared their experiences and expressed gratitude towards their teachers. Many students became emotional as they recalled the memorable moments spent in the college.The program concluded with a vote of thanks, and all students were given a warm farewell along with best wishes for their bright future.

World Health Day was celebrated

On April 7, 2026, World Health Day was celebrated at Mata Sundari Khalsa Girls College, Nissing, which is run under the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee. The event was organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS), Red Cross Society, and Red Ribbon Club.The Principal, Dr. Satwant Kaur Mann, presided over the function as the Chief Guest. She highlighted the theme of this year’s World Health Day and emphasized that everyone should work together to take care of each other’s health. She also encouraged the use of new and emerging technologies without hesitation for better health management. After this, the NSS Program Officer guided the students on how to improve their lifestyle in order to live a healthy life. She shared valuable insights about maintaining an active lifestyle.Later, an online lecture was conducted in which students were educated about ways to safeguard their health. The students also took a pledge to protect their own health as well as that of their families.On this occasion, NSS Program Officer Geetika, Red Cross Society Convener Dr. Mamta, Red Ribbon Club Convener Megha, and members Kiran Rohilla, Aarti Narwal, Neha Sharma, along with other members, were present

Faculty Development Programme from 16th April to 18th April, 2025 was organised by IQAC and Innovation Council Cell for our teachers.

Where teachers got an opportunity to learn and develop new skills. In that programme our many departments Computer Deptt, Fine Arts and Fashion Designing Deptt participated wholeheartedly and came up with interesting sessions. Our Fashion Designing Department facilty Ms Lakshika gave a nice session on tie and dye. Fine arts dept’s Faculty Ms. Osheen showed how to make a wood block and do block printing , whereas our Computer Dept’s faculty Ms. Manjot conducted sessions on creating Google Forms and designing brochures with Canva. It was a three day programme filled with creativity and important information. Our teachers really enjoyed it.

Fine arts department has organised a 7 days Pottery workshop for our students. Ms Sumon a Potter from Karnal was invited to the college to conduct the workshop.

The 21st Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony was organized today on 7th May 2025 under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Satwant Kaur Mann at Mata Sundri Khalsa Girls College Nising. In which talented students of session 2024-25 were awarded. On this occasion, the annual academic calendar of the college was released by the Principal.
